Korean Conflict
After WWII was over, Korea was divided along the 38th parallel to split the communism in the north and the democracy in the south. The two nations differ in political and economic makeup because North Korea is communist and industrial where the south is democracy and agricultural. On July 25th, 1950 North Korea passes the 38th parallel and starts to attack South Korea. The supported the North Koreans by supplying them with tanks, airplanes, and money. Also the United Nations will aid the South Koreans.
The North Koreans push the South Koreans by September 1950 that basically they controlled the entire nation pass the 38th parallel besides a tiny area in the southeast. This made the war change by having the Untied Nations personal entire South Korea and which the US troops push the North Koreans so far to the Yalu River near the Chinese border. This made China feel threatened so there reaction was to send 300,00 troops into North Korea and help stop it. On July 1953 is when the war ends which results in the reestablishment of the 38th parallel and the signing of the armistice. Today North Korea is Communist and South Korea being democracy.
