China Becoming Communist
The Communist movement in China was lead by the leader Mao Zedong that started in 1921. The communists were fighting against the nationalists which who'd leader is Chian Kai-shek.
The Long March was a 6000 mile retreat of the Chine Communist party in which they were surrounded by he nationalist so they would retreat to Taiwan in 1934-1935. Also this is when Mao Redoing became leader of the Communist party. All the land of China was taken from the nobles and redistribute it equally to all the Chinese people, this was called the Agrarian Reform Law of 1950. During the Great Leap forward was an attempt to rebuild China's economy, increase industrialization however this caused a severe famine in which many people died. The three main events that occurred between 1946 and 1949 was the Chinese Civil War, the Battle of Huai-Hai, and the beginning of the People's Republic of China. The event of the Chinese Civil War unraveled, the Communists and the Nationalist began new fighting. The Battle of Huai-Hai was one of the biggest battles in the Chinese Civil War that caused the mark of the end of the Nationalist dominance in northern China. Finally the beginning of the People's Republic of China was when China announced the establishment of them becoming a communist country.
Today compared to the United States, the living conditions in China are way more of a low standard. Most of the people in China work extremely hard to only get a small pay in wages. To this day China is still communist and far more unfortunate then the United States.
